This bike was only made in this configuration one year.  The FLT frame was created in 1979 for FLT model bikes, but the Electra Glide, FLHT only had a rubber mounted Shovelhead mated to a 5 speed transmission for ONE year, 1983.  The Electra Glide Classic came in two color combinations, and this one is Tan & Cream.
It runs perfect, and rides VERY smooth.  Much smoother than any solid mounted Shovelhead. It does have a transmission main shaft seal leak.  It’ll cost about 0 to get fixed or you can just take care of it yourself, as most Shovelhead owners like to do their own work.  This does not stop me from riding it anywhere I want.  If I were to keep the bike, I’d just do it this winter when riding season is over.
Paint is original, and shows nicely, but does have a couple of chips and a few scratches.  It’s a really great bike, and gets lots of attention everywhere I go.
