Originally ordered new for one of the Seattle Seahawks, this H2 is loaded and low miles!
It all started as a military vehicle in the late 1970s. Since then, AM General has built more than 175,000 HMWWV, Humvee, or Hummer H1 vehicles.
The Hummer H2 was the second model build and introduced to fill a void for buyers that were looking for a vehicle that was a bit more “user friendly” than the behemoth that was the H1!
The Hummer 2 was actually longer and taller than the original H1, but doesn't look it. The H2 represented an impressive production achievement. In just 16 months from the go signal, the Hummer H2 was designed, engineered, tested, and the new factory was built. It's a serious off-road SUV built on GM's superb T800 truck platform, which was shared with the Chevy Suburban and Tahoe SUVs and the Chevy Silverado pickups, plus the Cadillac Escalade, Chevy Avalanche, GMC Sierra and Yukons, and other vehicles.
But this isn't just a gussied-up Suburban. The H2 boasts unique Hummer engineering, attributes, and offers truly impressive off-road capabilities. And unlike the H1, it provides occupants with a luxurious interior that's comfortable and convenient. Its size and design makes it suitable for everyday use.
The H2 presented here was originally ordered by one of the Seattle Seahawks! It’s finished in Pewter Metallic over Tan leather. It’s powered by an efficient 6.0L Vortec V8 mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission and 4WD.
How often do you see a Hummer with only 21k miles?! Not very, we would guess.
This truck has been meticulously cared for and has a clean Carfax. It runs and drives beautifully! The paint is in excellent shape as is the interior with very little wear shown. It’s got full power accessories and oversized tires (brand new ones in the front) with polished custom wheels. A backup camera has been added for driver convenience, as well!
